Guest Services Supervisor
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the Guest Services Center. They are the leaders and role models of the guest services staff. They are responsible for training and supervising subordinate guest services personnel in their daily duties, developing them to their full potential and ensuring consistency of operation.

While the Guest Services Supervisor reports directly to the Security and Guest Services Manager, the position also works cooperatively with the on-site property team in promoting Here To Help service, training goals and objectives; exemplifying the Macerich brand values; and helping to achieve the stated S&GS Business Metrics and pertinent Macerich Critical Goals.

Job Duties (may included, but are not limited to)
•Participate in the implementation of the mall’s gift card plan which is updated on a quarterly basis. Involvement will include, but not be limited to developing additional corporate clients, making cold and follow up calls, and sending thank you notes.
•Takes great pride in offering helpful, friendly service at all times. Help ensure guests are greeted and assisted in an efficient and courteous manner by all Town Center ambassadors
•Works closely with security supervisors to share information and monitor consistency of service property-wide.
•Helps conduct Here To Help service training, Macerich Moments, Macerich Milestones and Guest Services Meetings.
•Communicates with all Town center ambassadors and updates all Guest Services Desk information
•Has a working knowledge of the merchandise available in the mall stores to direct guests properly, assist in gift idea questions as well as inform Town Center ambassadors of store merchandise
•Has a general knowledge of the local community and can easily give directions to guests inquiring about places in the surrounding area
•Oversees comment card tracking for the Town Center and replies to comment cards on behalf of management
•Schedules all guest services representatives (receives final schedule approval from Security and Guest Services Manager)
•Oversees Guest Services desk appearance, information and acts as a liaison between the Security and Guest Services Manager and Guest Services Representatives
•Responsible for guest services equipment (repair, training, updating, etc…)
•Partners with on-site property team in carrying our various programs and initiatives. (i.e. Gift Card Sales etc.)
•Understands and follows Macerich Cash Handling Procedures
•Other duties as assigned

•Ability to complete multiple tasks while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor
•Wear required Guest Services uniform and name badge as directed by Center Management
•Ability to listen and react quickly to guests’ and merchants requests
•Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
•Ability to supervise people while following company policies
•Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
•Ability to handle guests and merchant concerns in a courteous and genuine manner
•Ability work with varied personalities and temperaments
•Team player
•Self-motivated
